SAFIT will hold the 2019 taxonomic workshop at Briggs Hall, Room 122, UC Davis on the weekend of October 19-20, prior to the SAFIT annual board meeting on October 21 at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area near Davis, and the 26th annual California Aquatic Bioassessment Workgroup (CABW) meetings at the ARC on the UC Davis campus on October 22-23.
The workshop this year will focus on the aquatic Hemiptera/Heteroptera and will be presented by Dan Polhemus, the Bishop Museum, Hawaii. There will also be a section on taxonomic updates.
Folks are encouraged to volunteer to provide updates on other taxonomic groups. Please contact Robert Wisseman bob@aquaticbio.com with your ideas or questions.

Students and staff from UC-Davis may attend all or part of the workshop for free, but please notify Bob Wisseman bob@aquaticbio.com that you will be doing so to make sure we have enough room.
